I was standing next to you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I said nothing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought if I controlled Aura, people would finally see me as the person who made everything possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd Theresa?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe believed it too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou used her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou used Claire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>His eyes closed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou used me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He nodded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There was nothing left to argue.<\/p>\n<p>He documents.<\/p>\n<p>The divorce.<\/p>\n<p>The hospital.<\/p>\n<p>All of it was part of my history.<\/p>\n<p>But none of it controlled my future.<\/p>\n<p>I turned off the lights.<\/p>\n<p>Before
